kari came over today and we had an august time :] after waiting for an hour to see if she could come over, she came at about noon and we decided to cook. so we first made our key lime bars and wanted to make hash brown potatoes. so we had to boil them so we did that while the bars baked. when the potatoes were done we found that we had accidently over boiled them but fried them any way with table blend seasoning, chili powder, pepper, and salt. mmmmmm...then when the potatoes were in a bowl on the table, we scraped out the pan and scrambled some eggs which also had all the seasonings the potatoes had...mmmmmmm!!
i had also set out some grapes, blueberries and bananas and toasted a bagle for us to split. while the lime bars cooled we ate our small meal (yes, it was small. we didn't make very much of the things we made). and when the lime bars were cool, we each had some. mmmm...and then while kari finished hers, "excuse me." and i just flopped onto the floor. it was all so filling.
once we had tidied up the kitchen, we went into my bedroom where we played spit and then kind of started truth or dare but gave up on it and went outside to spray each other with the hose. after we were nicely sprinkled with water, we went into the front and layed in the grass and threw bagle's ball for him. then kari shrieked, "LET'S ROLL DOWN THE LAWN!" so we rolled down the lawn. it was so much fun. the first time we almost ran into the rose bushes...owwww...ooh yes, before all the rolling we were doing cart-wheels. that was interesting...haha.
